Description

Five documentary shorts in which people from around the world overcome obstacles, question social norms, and create new communities through dance.

Subjects include a new coalition of female poppers, Spanish women challenging traditions of “machismo” through flamenco, and the remarkable story of Pulga Muchachoma, a once impoverished minor league soccer player from Mozambique, who gives up everything to pursue a life of dance in Canada.
