Memory Of Forgiveness is a dance film, inspired by a book “50 Years of Silence” written by a Dutch lady, Jan Ruff-O’Herne, who was forced to be working as a sex slave by the Japanese army in the Dutch East Indies (the Republic of Indonesia) during WWII. Based on her decision, which is “I forgive the Japanese Army” in her book, the film questions and challenges how we forgive someone or ourselves in our daily lives.
